FLYING FOX BUDDY TRAINING PROGRAM
Preparing Volunteers for Inclusive, Safe, and Fun Experiences
What Is Buddy Training?
Before participating in any program, all volunteers must complete Flying Fox’s Buddy Training - a comprehensive, interactive disability training program designed to build confidence, awareness, and practical skills. Our training provides a safe and supportive environment where volunteers can openly explore ideas, ask questions, and engage in meaningful discussions - including topics that may feel difficult or taboo in other settings.
Highly regarded within the disability sector, Flying Fox training consists of Disability Theory & Practice.
By the end of the program, volunteers are well-prepared to deliver safe, inclusive, and high-quality support across all Flying Fox programs.
